The staff of Encore Communities enjoy planning interesting, stimulating and diverse activities for our residents to enjoy at home and throughout the community. Our mission is to select a variety of social and entertainment events for residents to choose from as they wish. We also encourage family members to join the festivities!

A Comfortable and Healthy Place to Live!

Each Encore Communities location has exercise areas and equipment, recreation and television rooms, cozy reading nooks, and beautiful dining rooms which are perfect for playing games and sharing time with family and friends. There are also special rooms where you can host private personal gatherings. Our award winning chefs and friendly dietary service staff can assist you with planning your party or event and catering. Best of all, we do the clean up!

You'll Never Be Bored At Encore Communities!

Our innovative Activity Directors are committed to planning events which are both appropriate and interesting. They incorporate a wide range of community cultural events including music, theater, art shows, and local fairs. There are lots of scheduled exercise and social activities for those who are unable to travel, or those who want to enjoy a relaxing afternoon at home. Our local Bookmobile makes regular visits to all Encore Communities.

Enjoy Group Gatherings & Meetings

Encore has an excellent relationship with the medical, health care and social service communities, and the business community at large. We provide meeting rooms for many groups such as the AARP -American Association of Retired Persons-, Safe Drivers Program, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, United Way, Hospice, and Alzheimer's Association.

Spiritual Fulfillment

Depending on the location, residents have access to transportation to church, on campus services, Bible studies, and spiritual counseling by visiting pastors. Please consult with individual locations for exact services and schedules.

Leave the Driving To Encore!

Each Encore Community has a van and/or bus to transport residents to scheduled medical, dental and other health care appointments. The van is also available for taking residents to movies, banks, shopping, special outdoor activities and other destinations.
