When to Consider Memory Care

April 26, 2022 from 2pm to 3pm

Assisted living and memory care programs are now common in many cities, but family caregivers don’t know when to consider residential care, how to choose a good program, and ways to make the move. This webinar will describe some of the commonly used assessment tools related to the stages of dementia which can inform decision making. Key elements of quality memory care will be described including the benefits of looking for an activity rich program and staff who demonstrate empathy and friendship. Participants will leave with a tool which can help them determine when assisted living memory care is recommended.
