The Laurel Cove Lifestyle

The Laurel Cove Lifestyle

Living well means more than simply having access to required assistance and medical care; it takes a community. At Laurel Cove, we strive to create a home-like environment, in which our staff, residents, and their families come together to participate in the process. Treating people with respect, care, and good humor is the backbone of our approach.

More than a senior living community, Laurel Cove is a place of vibrancy, meaning, and joy. Older generations inspire, motivate, guide, and direct us. As we work to create an empowering, caring, and independent culture for our residents, we are also creating our own future.

Laurel Cove Community independent living patients always have fun here.

We invite ideas and suggestions from residents, families, and team members for making life at Laurel Cove more pleasant, interesting, and fulfilling. Continually striving for excellence, we are constantly adapting to input from our community. It is our goal that Laurel Cove remains a caring environment where each of our residents can develop and flourish.

Life Enrichment

Your Lifestyle Your Way

At Laurel Cove, we believe that the Golden Years is the crescendo of a lifetime. As such, we have created an environment that supports a person-centered, resident-directed lifestyle, in which we encourage each person to be their very best self. Ask us about our Life Enrichment Programs to learn more about our exciting and life-affirming opportunities.

Laurel Cove Community assisted living seniors are happy to be here.

We advocate for a shift from institutional models of care to resident-directed values and practices that put the person first. Well-being refers not only to a person’s health but also to their strengths, dreams, and goals––around which we build our care plans.

In the traditional health care model, care plans establish one’s identity in terms of what assistance is needed and the deficits they live with––limiting care in terms of diagnosis or disease. Our Care Plans use well-being as our frame of reference. The goals are focused on strengths, preferences, and growth opportunities. By concentrating on these core ideas, we partner with each resident to provide the assistance needed to achieve greater overall well-being.

Laurel Cove Community memory care patients get nothing short of the best from care providers.

They [Laurel Cove Caregivers] provide my mom with just the right amount of structure and flexibility, and she’s so happy. Meanwhile, I have peace of mind that she’s not lonely and isolated, and she’s got a place to stay for the long term and won’t have to go anywhere else.

I had an in-person tour of Laurel Cove Community. It was really, friendly. Everybody seemed to know people's names, and they chatted with each other. The staff was friendly and nice. It was a homier feeling.
