About Short-Term Skilled Nursing

In-patient skilled nursing care is provided in an attractive and comfortable community, with staff available 24-hours per day. Our services include all meals, use of an in-house pharmacy, and access to therapists, nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare support.

About Outpatient Therapy

The Northwoods Lodge team can provide outpatient therapy at a patient’s home or patients can come to Northwoods Lodge and get therapy in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym. No matter where we provide therapy, our goal is always to improve people’s health so they regain as much independence as possible.

				The care is excellent. The food is excellent. There could be more PT's and OT's, but the ones here are excellent. My wife feels like she is at a health spa. Overall, wonderful.

				Northwoods has one of the best physical therapy units around. It is perhaps the best skilled nursing facility in the region. If you need assistance regarding a bill, like I did Lori Durham will help you with any questions you have about it. She helped assuage my concerns about something that had not been covered by our insurance and explained the protocols I needed to meet in order to have the last time he needed to stay there covered. I would also like to mention Mary Williamson, she is the social services director. She has been really helpful with something we have yet to resolve (only because I need to do something, not her). I feel confident overall that he is receiving the best care in the county here. The only reason he didn't come back to us fully recovered from his last stay here is because the insurance companies are not taking COVID seriously anymore. It's not the facility. It's ALL the insurance companies. They are complete jerks. But I do think anyone being admitted should be current on vaccinations, so they aren't making their roommates sick. That is something they could do. Especially since there seems to be a lot to be worried about. Why worry about that as well? With so many humans in one place, it seems like protecting them from what we can should be a priority. A 30 second shot is better than an illness which can result in death for people with vulnerable immune systems.

				My experience at Northwoods Lodge Rehab Center was excellent all levels of their staff did their job very professionally with a caring and friendly attitude. All of the physical therapists who worked with me were very good. My primary PT was Sarah Hanson who was outstanding with out her expertise, motivation, and positive attitude I would not have had such a successful experience while at Northwoods Lodge. Without Sarah I would not have been able to progress as quickly I did in meeting the requirements to move to in house therapy. 				Sharing from the experience of working there, it was truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Everyone is helpful. Everyone makes you feel like you’re important even the higher ups, which is very rare at nursing homes or rehabilitation centers whenever I had a concern it was taken very seriously and was dealt in an extreme fast time manner. The patients are the top priority and their care. Is that an extremely high level. The staff here treats your family like it’s there’s. There’s not enough words that I can put on this review to allow inside of how fantastic this facility is. If if you need to send your love one somewhere I highly recommend. I really wish that I could’ve stayed longer, but I moved across the country but if I was still living in Washington, I will be working there 100% thank you to all the staff that encountered and all the help that I received I will take this experience and let it follow me for the rest of my life!!

				I received excellent care at Northwoods. Sarah Hanson PTA literally got me walking again with walker and cane. CNA Rosalie Myers was so encouraging and pushed me to try. Dee Dalton constantly was available for personal care.

				The staff are very caring and attentive, and the PT & OT work with me daily to insure I can have mobility to be independent and do things on my own. I’m so happy I chose NWL for my rehab. This facility is very clean and I feel very safe being here. I would definitely recommend NWL to anyone looking for a great place to go for inpatient rehabilitation.

				She and I spent a great deal of time addressing my tremors. This is made a huge difference for me. Not only do we address the Tremors but we also researched what medication would work and what my diagnosis is tentatively. I am so grateful I will now be able to go back home on Sunday January 15th and be safe and be able to live independently with happiness. My follow-up will be Tuesday with my primary care physician we'll also benefit from the work that Haley did. I feel blessed
