Our Approach to Care
Encore Communities adopts a person-centered approach to care. We recognize that each resident has different needs and goals, and we work with them and their families to develop a personalized care plan. We use a comprehensive assessment tool that covers 14 domains of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We update this assessment every 90 days or whenever there is a change in the resident’s condition.
We also maintain a higher staff-to-resident ratio than most other assisted living and memory care communities. This allows us to provide more attentive and consistent care to our residents, and to accommodate their changing needs over time. We believe that by helping our residents stay in their familiar environment, where they have established relationships and routines, we can enhance their happiness and health outcomes.
